TRAVEL | Kaohsiung | Pier 2 Art

I went to Kaohsiung, which is located in southern-western Taiwan, to get away from the hectic city life that I am sicked of. I had so much fun in Kaohsiung in these four days, and I love pretty much everything about that city. The people, the food, the weather, the scenery are just amazing. I have not really been to anywhere outside of Taipei, except once in Taichung ( for a short weekend). It feels so good to take some time off to just relax and appreciate all the things around you.
So we went to Kaohsiung's Pier 2 Art District for the first day, because Weekend fever was hosting a bazaar on that weekend. Weekend fever always has interesting vendors that sell mostly vintage and handmade stuff. Pier 2 art District is such a great place to explore, there's exhibitions, installations, gallery, design shops, cafe and more. The place is quite and I felt like I have not spent enough time there. It has a very modern artsy atmosphere, and yet very relaxing. I felt so refreshing to walk over the port, watch all these people having fun with their love ones and the beautiful environment around me. I had this feeling that this is how life should be, live in the moment.
I have so much more to share, but I really need some time to process the photos ( I am no good at it, but I'll do the best I can). Its just crazy that the insane amount of photos taken in just a few days, but those places that we went to are too beautiful not to be captured.
